Notary Public services
Like many Notaries Public, I provide a range of services to assist clients including businesses that trade internationally and private individuals. Typical assignments include:
- 01
Completing and witnessing powers of attorney for use overseas.
- 02
Assisting with documentation for the purchase or sale of land and property abroad.
- 03
Certifying documents to deal with estate administration for people who are abroad, or own property abroad, and assisting executors.
- 04
Authenticating company and business documents and transactions.
- 05
Verifying translations from foreign languages to English and vice versa.
- 06
Authenticating personal documents and information for immigration or emigration purposes, or to apply to marry or work abroad.
I can also assist with the requirement of some foreign countries that notarised documents are legalised before they can be used there.
This involves the Foreign & Commonwealth Office authenticating the validity of the Notary’s signature and seal by attaching an official certificate, known as an Apostille. Some countries may also require their embassy to provide authentication. I can obtain these verifications on a client’s behalf.
As a Notary Public, I can also offer authentication and a secure record for almost any transaction, document or event and carry out any form of legal work, except for taking cases to court.
I provide Notary Public services principally in the Fareham, Portsmouth and Southampton area but have clients in other parts of the country where I am happy to meet them. As well as offering clients flexibility on location, I can arrange appointments during normal office hours or at their place of business or home at evenings and weekends if required.
